What is a treadmill?
A treadmill is simply a long belt that moves very slowly in one direction (like an escalator going in the other) and you have to run or walk or jog on it to keep it moving.
Why do we use treadmills?
Treadmills are used for exercise because they provide a low-impact, full-body workout that is safe for people of all ages and fitness levels. They are also great for people who have joint problems or experience difficulty with running on hard surfaces like grass or pavement. A treadmill workout offers a more “comfy” alternative than running outside because the belt moves at a constant, slow pace, which mimics the natural walking or running motion of healthy human movement.
How do we use a fan on a treadmill?
Fans are very useful on a treadmill because they create a cooling effect by moving air across your skin. This effect is similar to the way a breeze off of a lake or the sea cools you off on a hot day. Fans are especially useful on a treadmill because the air flow created by the fan helps to keep you cool and reduces the effort you need to exert to keep moving.
The effect of using a fan on a treadmill:
Using a fan on a treadmill creates an easy, comfortable workout that is great for people of all fitness levels and ages. It’s easy to get in a good, full-body workout on a treadmill without having to worry about getting sick from running outdoors or injuring yourself by running too hard on hard surfaces. Using a fan on a treadmill also makes it possible to exercise outside during the hottest part of the day without getting overheated and giving up because of the heat.
