Choosing Types of Fitness Goals

Fitness Goals

The 6 categories of fitness goals in Fitbod are: Health Goals. This includes general health, which covers general fitness goals such as weight loss or increased muscle mass. Strengthening or Muscle Building Goals. These include powerlifting or bodybuilding and specifically target muscular strength, symmetry, and definition.

Health Goals is typically for individuals over 40. They also include increasing muscle mass, strengthening and defining general fitness goals such as losing weight or gaining muscle. Once you’ve achieved your overall health goal, you can move on to targeting individual health goals including heart health, cholesterol, or blood pressure.

Flexibility and Radiology are two categories of health and fitness goals that fit into the Health and fitness goal category. They are similar to the general fitness goals, but address specific needs. For example, a heart health and cardiovascular program would focus on increasing heart health while also improving circulation and decreasing high blood pressure. Flexibility is addressing joints in ways that increase range-of-motion and strengthen muscles.

Strengthening and Cardio. These are very similar to the Health and fitness goals except they focus on specific muscle groups rather than general health. In a strength training program, you are focusing on building and maintaining muscle strength while decreasing body fat. For cardio, you are burning calories rather than losing them. These are some of the most common fitness programs in a Fitbod gym. You should see results pretty quickly by undertaking these kinds of workouts.

Aerobic. This category includes activities such as walking, jogging, running, biking, and swimming. It focuses on increasing your stamina and adding distance to your fitness goal, while also working on decreasing body fat. One of the most popular aerobic workouts is running, as it can be done throughout the day and at any time. However, it is important that you do not exceed the maximum limit of your calorie intake or you will only be wasting time.

Flexibility and Strength Training. In the category of flexibility and strength training, you want to build and tone your muscle groups, which are typically done through weight lifting. One of the easiest and most popular strength training exercises is yoga, which is great for burning calories while also strengthening your muscles.

Nutritional Goals. Fitness goals include eating the proper foods. While there are generally no hard and fast rules when it comes to eating, you will want to eat a wide variety of healthy foods. Protein and fiber are two of the most important foods to eat to help you reach and maintain your fitness goal. Carbohydrates, fats, and fruits are also good choices, but you will want to limit your intake of sugary foods and processed foods. Also, you will want to eat enough protein to help you get the most out of your workouts.

Fitness goals are very common, whether you are trying to lose weight, strengthen your muscles, or increase your stamina. There are tons of different types of fitness goals to choose from, so there’s sure to be something available to fit your specific needs. For the best results, be consistent and don’t give up easily. If you find that you are struggling to reach your fitness goal, then don’t give up and keep working at it. With enough determination, you will be able to reach your goals and enjoy the benefits of better health in the long run.
