5 Unforgettable Alternatives To The Most Common Exercise

Exercise

Have you ever wondered what people do when they go to the gym?

They don’t just work out their body, they are actually working on their mind and soul as well. That is why I am suggesting 5 different alternatives to the most common exercise. These alternatives are not new, but they are so simple that anyone can easily learn and use them for the rest of his/her life.

1. Jump rope

This is the simplest way to get fit and it is also one of the most effective. It will increase your cardio and strength in an instant. You can start with 20 seconds of jumping followed by 30 seconds of resting. If you want to get fitter then you can increase the speed gradually.

2. Walking on the spot

This is a great way to warm up your body before doing any other exercise. Just stand in a corner with your feet shoulder width apart and keep moving your feet in a circular motion for 10 seconds. After that, walk in a straight line for 30 feet and turn around and repeat the process. This routine should be done 2 times.

3. Doing burpees

Burpee is a full body exercise which will boost your metabolism and make you leaner. Stand with your feet hip width apart and bend your knees. Now jump up as high as you can and land on your feet. Immediately jump up again and this time squat down as low as you can and stand up quickly. Do this exercise continuously until you drop to the ground. That’s one burpee. To make it more challenging do burpees while holding a weight in your hands.

4. Jumping jacks

Just like burpees, jumping jacks will also increase your metabolism and make you leaner. Stand in front of a mirror with your arms at your sides. Now raise one leg up in the air and quickly bring it back down. Raise the other leg and repeat the process. Do this exercise continuously for 20 minutes. This is a great way to warm up your body before doing any other exercise.

5. Swimming

Swimming is the best exercise for toning up your entire body. It is a total body workout which will improve your endurance, speed, and strength. If you are just starting out then I would suggest you do water aerobics. Otherwise, if you have some experience then you can do freestyle or breaststroke. Just make sure that the pool you are using has a good quality filter.

Conclusion:

These 5 simple alternatives will definitely boost your metabolism and make you leaner. By doing these exercises you will get a complete body workout which will give you a lean and tight body.
